Product Introduction

The WX6100 Insulating Oil Dielectric Loss and Resistivity Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T5654-2007 "Liquid Insulating Materials—Measurement of Relative Permittivity, Dielectric Dissipation Factor (tan δ) at Power Frequency and DC Resistivity." It is used for measuring the dielectric dissipation factor (tan δ) and DC resistivity of insulating oils and other liquid insulating media.

Featuring an integrated structure, the instrument incorporates key components including a dielectric loss test cell, temperature controller, temperature sensor, dielectric loss bridge, AC test power supply, standard capacitor, high-resistance meter, and DC high-voltage source. Utilizing fully digital technology, it performs fully automated intelligent measurements. Equipped with a color LCD screen and a full Chinese menu interface, each operational step is guided by Chinese prompts. Test results can be automatically stored and printed, allowing operators to use the instrument proficiently without specialized training.

Product Characteristics

(1) The test cell adopts a three-electrode structure compliant with GB/T5654-2007, with an inter-electrode spacing of 2 mm, effectively eliminating the influence of stray capacitance and leakage on dielectric loss measurement results.

(2) The instrument employs medium-frequency induction heating with a PID temperature control algorithm. This heating method offers non-contact operation between the test cell and the heater, ensuring uniform heating, rapid temperature rise, and convenient control, thereby strictly maintaining temperature within the preset error range.

(3) The internal standard capacitor is an SF₆ gas-filled three-electrode type, whose dielectric loss and capacitance are unaffected by ambient temperature and humidity, ensuring long-term measurement accuracy.

(4) The AC test power supply adopts an AC-DC-AC conversion method, effectively avoiding the impact of mains voltage and frequency fluctuations on measurement accuracy. The instrument operates correctly even when powered by a generator.

(5) Comprehensive protection functions. In case of overvoltage, overcurrent, or high-voltage short circuit, the instrument promptly cuts off the high voltage and issues a warning. A warning is also triggered if the temperature sensor fails or is disconnected. A temperature-limiting relay is installed inside the medium-frequency induction heating furnace; heating stops when the temperature exceeds 120°C.

(6) Convenient test parameter settings. Temperature setting range: 0–120°C; AC voltage setting range: 500–2200 V; DC voltage setting range: 300–500 V.

(7) Equipped with a large LCD screen with backlight for clear display. The user-friendly interface allows automatic testing by following Chinese menu prompts and entering commands. Test results are automatically stored and printed.

(8) Built-in real-time clock. Test date and time can be saved, displayed, and printed along with the results.

(9) Empty-cell calibration function. Measures the capacitance and dielectric loss factor of the empty test cell to assess its cleanliness and assembly condition. Calibration data is automatically saved to facilitate accurate calculation of relative permittivity and DC resistivity.
