Instrument Introduction
The WXCT-D Automatic Micro Carbon Residue Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the GB/T 17144 standard. It accurately determines the carbon residue of petroleum products by strictly following the procedures outlined in the standard. A weighed sample is placed into a sample tube and heated according to a specified temperature program in an inert gas (nitrogen) atmosphere. Upon reaching the set temperature, volatile matter generated during the cracking process is carried away by the nitrogen stream. The carbonaceous residue remaining is then reported as a percentage of the original sample mass, yielding the micro carbon residue value.
