The WX-YN1412 Kinematic Viscosity Tester is a testing instrument designed and manufactured in accordance with the Chinese national standard*GB/T 265-88-Petroleum Products-Determination of Kinematic Viscosity and Calculation of Dynamic Viscosity*.
The instrument's testing principle involves determining the time for a fixed volume of liquid to flow under gravity through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer at a constant temperature.The product of this flow time and the viscometer's capillary constant yields the kinematic viscosity of the liquid at that temperature,expressed in mm²/s.The dynamic viscosity is obtained by multiplying this kinematic viscosity by the liquid's density at the same temperature.This method is suitable for determining the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products(Newtonian liquids).
